”All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weighs the spirits” Proverbs 16:2
Where do we find the Saviour of our times – a pure human being to deliver us from chaos and perdition? Among heads of state? In the business community? Or somewhere completely different? Is the role as saviour cast by higher powers or one chosen? And how does a modern saviour relate to the surroundings’ excess of pressure and temptation…?
A man is told that he is the Saviour. Supported by his followers he slowly gains faith in his abilities – all signs are on his side and circumstances lead him onwards. He trains his supernatural powers and his miracle-working, which most of all seem to be results of coincidence. The stage is set for a great Coming when the situation takes an unforeseen turn.
”And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.” Revelations 19:11-13
