MIKE ATTACK

Release
1998

A man gets thrown onto a stage that has been set up for a stand-up comedy show. Fleeing from the audiences expectant glare is out of the question, so he has to try his best, using his body as a tool, to win a game he can’t figure out.

Mike Attack is an insane comedy. In a blazing tempo, Kristján Ingimarsson plays out the little mans struggle to survive in a society run by the media, without words but with plenty of body. The only prop on stage is a microphone stand and a backdrop of sound that sets the tempo of the show. Tunes from westerns, cartoons, soccer matches etc. fill the space and every time the melody shifts, the poor man has to take on a new role.

Can a microphone have an orgasm? Yes, of course! You just have to touch it thoroughly on the stand at it will scream with pleasure.
