“The Hangar People” unleash creative energy and artistic freedom, challenging conventional thinking both within and beyond the theatre. We create “playable performances” which transform the traditional audience experience by enabling participants to actively play the performance using an app on a phone or tablet. This integration of technology, gaming dramaturgy, and physical theatre creates an interactive and immersive environment like no other. Each performance takes place within large plexiglass, equipped with advanced sound and lighting technology, allowing them to function as modular stages that can be presented either individually or together, resulting in a unique immersive experience. Each piece invites audiences to engage with aesthetic, political and collective realities, empowering them to influence and alter elements of the performance as they experience it”
